General

What type of wallpaper do you offer?

Riverpine offers two wallpaper types, both printed to order in the U.S.:

  • Peel & Stick – A self-adhesive vinyl with a semi-matte finish. Easy to apply and remove, perfect for renters or temporary installs.
  • Traditional – A classic, matte-finish wallpaper that requires paste. Ideal for long-term use and professional applications.

Both are printed on high-quality materials and made to highlight the details of each design. For best results, we recommend professional installation—especially for Traditional wallpaper or larger spaces.

Should I order a sample?

Yes, always. Every space has different light and texture, and screens don’t reflect that accurately. Each sample includes two 8.5" × 11" sheets: one with a full wall layout and another at actual scale.

Can I request a color change or scale adjustment?

Yes, we offer color or scale adjustments on most designs. Just send us an email with your request, and we’ll walk you through the options, pricing, and timeline. Customizations are a great way to make the design feel just right for your space. Reach out to info@riverpinestudio.com

How do I know how much wallpaper to order?

Each product page includes panel dimensions and coverage details to help you calculate what you need. We recommend measuring your wall area carefully and double-checking your numbers before placing an order. If you're unsure, you may want to consult with your installer or contractor to confirm quantities.

Our Process

How are Riverpine wallpapers made?

Each design begins in Danelys Sidron’s studio, where she sketches, paints, or illustrates every motif with care. The artwork is thoughtfully refined and developed into a seamless repeat, then printed to order in the U.S. on high-quality materials.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

At the moment, we only ship within the U.S. while we finalize the setup for international fulfillment. If you're located outside the U.S., please feel free to email us at info@riverpinestudio.com — we'll let you know once international shipping becomes available.

Where are orders shipped from?

When will my order ship?

Production takes 7–14 business days. Once ready, you’ll receive tracking information via email.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer flat-rate shipping within the U.S.:

  • Wallpaper orders: $15

These rates are added at checkout.

There are no customs or import fees for U.S. orders. Once international shipping is available, buyers outside the U.S. will be responsible for any applicable duties or taxes upon delivery.

What if I make a mistake during installation?

Wallpaper installation takes care and precision. While we can’t offer refunds or replacements for installation errors, we’re happy to offer tips or guidance if something goes wrong. Just email us with your order number and a short description of the issue.

Installation & Removal

Can I install it myself?

Yes, though we recommend hiring a professional—especially for larger spaces or Traditional wallpaper. Peel & Stick is easier for DIYers but still requires care and precision.

What kind of wall surface works best?

Walls should be smooth, clean, and fully dry. Light texture (like orange peel or knockdown) usually works fine, but heavily textured or freshly painted surfaces may cause adhesion issues. Wait at least 4 weeks after painting before applying wallpaper.

Will the wallpaper damage my walls?

Peel & Stick wallpaper is removable and designed not to damage walls, but results vary depending on paint quality. If the paint is unstable, some minor flecking may occur. Always peel slowly and with care.

How do I remove Peel & Stick wallpaper?

Gently lift one corner and peel away slowly. On slick surfaces like glass, a little heat from a hairdryer can help loosen the adhesive for easier removal.

Installation Tips

How do I install the wallpaper?

Proper prep makes all the difference, whether you’re using Peel & Stick or Traditional wallpaper.

Start by making sure your walls are smooth, clean, and completely dry. Remove any dust, debris, or flaking paint. If your walls were recently painted, wait at least 4 weeks before installing wallpaper to ensure proper adhesion.

For Peel & Stick

Apply one panel at a time, starting from the top. Peel the backing gradually—don’t remove it all at once—and smooth as you go using a wallpaper tool or soft cloth. Press out air bubbles gently, and avoid stretching the material, as it may distort the pattern. If needed, peel back slowly and reposition with care.

For Traditional

Use a paste-the-wall adhesive (not paste-the-paper). Mark a vertical guideline to keep your first panel straight. Apply paste to the wall, then press each panel into place from top to bottom, smoothing outward as you go. Trim excess paper at the top and baseboards with a sharp blade for a clean finish.

For best results—especially in larger spaces—we recommend hiring a professional installer.

Materials & Samples

What are your wallpapers made of?

Our Peel & Stick is a self-adhesive vinyl with a semi-matte finish. Our Traditional wallpaper has a classic matte finish and requires paste. Both are made to highlight the artwork and are printed on high-quality materials for rich, long-lasting results.

Why order a sample?

Each sample gives you a full wall preview and a true-scale swatch. It’s the best way to see how the design looks in your space and light—before committing to a full order.

What’s the difference between Peel & Stick and Traditional?

Peel & Stick is best for easy DIY installs and rentals—no paste, removable, and repositionable. Traditional offers a seamless, high-end look and is best for long-term installs. It requires paste and ideally a pro installer.
